Thankyou.:) This little owl was very posed. I was rather shocked at it's size, I didn't know they were so little.

I didn't know there were owls that small either - very beautiful shot.

Amazing shot......He's about the same as our Saw Whet Owls, they are very tiny and weigh almost nothing. Owls are great at posing for photos because they stay very still and watch every move you make.......This should be in a bird book : )

owls are incredible animals. Back in SC I used to have some owls that lived in the woods beside my house. I loved listening to them at night. I miss that.
